For people being verified

You’ve been asked to verify your identity.

A business you’re signing up with uses OKIAS to confirm identities and prevent fraud. Here’s exactly what happens, and what we do — and don’t do — with your data.

01

Photograph your ID

A passport, national ID card, licence or residence permit. Use good lighting and keep the whole document in frame.

02

Take a quick selfie

A short liveness check confirms a real, present person. Follow the on-screen prompts — it takes seconds.

03

Get your result

The business you are verifying with receives the decision. Most results are ready in under a minute.

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with sensitive fields encrypted at the field level.
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time under our privacy policy.
Questions about your account or the outcome belong to the business you verified with; questions about your data can go to support@okias.io.

Common questions

Who is OKIAS?
OKIAS is an identity-verification provider. The company or app that asked you to verify uses our technology to confirm identities. We are OKIAS (SMC-Pvt) Ltd, and we process your verification on their behalf.
What happens to my documents and photos?
They are encrypted in transit and at rest, used only to complete the verification requested by the business you are dealing with, and handled under our privacy policy. We never sell personal data.
Why was I declined?
Common reasons are blur or glare on the document, an expired document, or the selfie not matching the document photo. The business you verified with decides what happens next — contact them first.
How do I get my data deleted?
Data deletion requests are honoured under our privacy policy. Email support@okias.io from the address you used, or ask the business that requested your verification.
Something isn’t working.
Make sure your browser has camera permission and try again in good lighting. Still stuck? Email support@okias.io — include the approximate time you tried.
